iciHaiti - Drug trafficking : Seizure of 17.2 kg of marijuana

Sunday, December 3rd, agents from the Office for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS) on detachment in Saint-Louis du Sud, carried out a joint operation with Coast Guard investigators in the area called "Folie".
During this operation, a quantity of 17,287 kg of marijuana was seized by the Police as part of a search at the home of "Johnny", as he was known, who managed to flee.
Still as part of this operation, Andrew Anthony Folkes, aged 51 and of Jamaican nationality, denounced by members of the area, was also arrested following a search carried out at his home.
