Monday, December 18, the first day of the first session of the permanent baccalaureate for those who failed for the 2023-2024 academic year took place, calmly and without major incidents across the ten school departments of the country, the exams went well. The officials of the Ministry of National Education, those responsible for the examination centers, supervisors, invigilators and candidates were delighted with the climate in which the 35,979 baccalaureate graduates took the Philosophy and Chemistry tests for secondary 4 and of Biology for those of traditional Philosophy.

For this first day, the Radio Télévision Éducative (RTE-Menfp) team visited several examination centers in various municipalities in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince, notably Delmas, Pétion-ville, Arcahaie but also in Jacmel in the South-East department.

Many centers welcomed 220 candidates spread across 10 examination rooms. Let's cite : the National School Republic of Equator in Delmas 41, the Collège Mixte les Brebis in Delmas 67, the Salem Christian Institution in Delmas 40 B, the National School Republic of Guatemala in Pétion-Ville, the Horatius Laventure high school in Delmas 75.
