iciHaiti - Library : Delivery of more than 2,000 books to the Cent-Cinquantenaire high school
Tuesday December 19, 2023, as part of the partnership signed on December 14 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-41221-haiti-libraries-public-private-partnership-between-the-ministry-of-education-and-publishers.html between the Ministry of National Education and publishers, aiming to create or strengthen libraries in public and private schools, 2,169, books mainly coming from C3 Editions, one of the signatories of the agreement, were handed over to the Cent-Cinquantenaire high school, commonly known as "Lycée des Jeunes Filles."

Should be noted that the Lycée is celebrating its 80th anniversary and is temporarily relocated to the premises of the Franciscan Brothers college, located at 12, at Impasse Lavisse, Chemin des Dalles, a few dozen meters from the intersection of Avenue John Brown (Lalue) while waiting for the return to its historic site.

On behalf of Minister Nesmy Manigat, and in his own name, Etienne Louisseul France, Departmental Director of Education for the West, thanked C3 Editions for supporting the Ministry, by providing 80% of the volume of works to start this Initiative aimed at facilitating student access to books

Etienne Louisseul France gave the guarantee to other establishments still in difficulty that the ministry, together with partners, was continuing the steps aimed at allowing them to regularly resume their operation from January 2024.

C3 Editions, in accordance with the letter and spirit of the Memorandum of Understanding on School Libraries/Media Libraries, offered students a conference focused on the importance of books and reading.
