iciHaiti - Taiwan : Donation of computer equipment

Wednesday, December 20, 2023, as part of the implementation of the Economic Recovery and Empowerment of Women Project in Haiti, Ambassador Wen-jiann KU of Taiwan (Republic of China) handed over a batch of IT equipment (computers, printers and projectors) to Sofia Loréus, the Minister for the Status of Women who will be responsible for redistributing them to 3 organizations : Community Development Center (CEDEC), Women in Association for the Development of Haiti and for the Strengthening of Social Integration (FADHRIS) and "Flanbo Jistis Fanm, Jean Marra Jacinthe" (FLAJFA)
This ceremony, which was held at CEDEC headquarters, also marks the closing of the first phase of the Project launched on May 20, 2022, during which 39 professional training courses were carried out, with a total of 8,921 beneficiaries. In addition, 11 women's organizations received assistance to strengthen their learning capacities through the Institutional Function Improvement subproject.
