Wednesday, December 27, 2023, the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), via its national technical direction, launches in Port-au-Prince for this winter a new series of football massification commonly called the "GrassRoots" Festival.

While other regions of the country are also affected, girls, born in 2009, 2010 and 2011, belonging to football schools and academies or those who wish to be evaluated, are expected at the Sylvio Cator stadium between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday .

The Palmes region, the departments of North, Center and South, will later be fixed on the dates when their session will be held.

At the end of this Festival the most talented players will be selected with a view to training the U15 women's national team for the CFU, Concacaf and FIFA competitions.

The "Grassroots" Festival refers to the massive organization of grassroots football which does not involve the professional or elite level. It is the lifeblood of football, it pursues a number of fundamental objectives such as encouraging mass participation in this sport; stimulate interest in football and provide new opportunities for people from different social backgrounds.
