Friday January 19, 2024 in the afternoon at Rue Mgr Guilloux, near the Port-au-Prince cemetery, 4 suspicious individuals aboard a Mercedes, wanting to avoid a check by a Patrol of the Research Brigade and Intervention (BRI) tried to turn around.
One of the individuals to cover their escape opened fire on the BRI agents who immediately returned fire, fatally wounding 3 of the passengers in the Mercedes, the 4th having managed to escape...
During the search of the Mercedes, BIS agents found and seized a large quantity of ammunition.
