The Dominican Army Intelligence Agencies (ERD) and G2 intercepted in the municipality of Las Matas de Santa Cruz (Prov. Montecristi), a Toyota Coaster bus, with 26 Haitians on board in an irregular migration situation.

On board the bus were 16 men, 9 women and a minor, who had no documents. The driver fled and the Haitians who intended to head towards the province of Valverde were taken to an retention center located near the Las Matas de Santa Cruz stop before their repatriation to Haiti by the services of the migration.
