iciHaiti - Music : «D-2» 17th edition of the PAPJAZZ festival 23/01/2024 08:27:39
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, and with the support of other partners, this 17th Edition of the Festival will take place from January 25 to 28, 2024 at the Karibe Convention Center. This musical event is an annual event not to be missed, which must be an exercise so that "the voices of our singers, the resonance of the guitar strings, the sounds of our drums surpass the voices of the firearms and constitute the real voices of Haiti," declared Nesmy Manigat, representing the Acting Minister of Culture during the launch conference. For the organizers of PAPJAZZ, this 17th edition aims to show the public, through a rich and eclectic program, that this activity of international scope still exists "in all its diversity and in its desire to please its usual audience and also to reach a younger audience. Several countries will be represented at this Festival : Cyrille Aimée (France); Ludovic Louis (France/Martinique); Richard Bona (Cameroon); Abe Rábade (Spain); Jerónimo González (Mexico); Ruy Lopez-Nussa (Cuba); Jazz Lakay Project, Erol Josué, KANIS, Beethova Obas, Richard Cavé, Gwolobo (Haiti).
