As part of the actions supported by the Basket Fund, the first phase of training in Strategic and Operational Planning supported by the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH) and experts in the Permanent Police Capacity (SPC) of the UN, began this week.

The second phase of training scheduled for February 5-9, 2024 is part of the multi-partner program to support the professionalization of the PNH.

Training in Strategic and Operational Planning is provided to 20-25 PNH officers involved in planning processes.

Topics covered include, among others, planning processes and phases, problem analysis tools, police reform and development, formulation of strategies and action plans, project management, monitoring and implementation, as well as evaluation.
