The Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), with the support of the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) of Taiwan (Republic of China), informs that the five-year economic empowerment project for the benefit of the women of Haiti aims to boost female entrepreneurship in the metropolitan area and more especially in Delmas, Cité Soleil and Pétion-ville was signed.

This project plans to offer a limited number of credits at a preferential rate to women entrepreneurs and Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) led by women through a network of microfinance institutions and partner cooperatives, rigorously selected for their commitment to economic development and financial inclusion.

PADF and ICDF are delighted with their collaboration on this hopeful project, which embodies a firm commitment to the advancement of equal opportunities and the enhancement of the potential of Haitian women.
