iciHaiti - Security : PoliFRONT increases its border patrols

Monday January 29, 2024, the Border Police (PoliFRONT) a specialized unit of the Haitian National Police (PNH) increased patrols at the border of the West department, separating Haiti from the Dominican Republic.
As part of the actions of the police institution aimed at combating organized crime in all its forms, PoliFRONT police officers carried out routine checks of vehicles, foot patrols, as well as pat-downs of users frequenting the border area.
The PNH is once again seeking the collaboration of the population to enable it to continue to fully fulfill its mission.
