iciHaiti - NOTICE : Postponement of rehabilitation work on the Friendship Road

In a note, the Ministry of Public Works (MTPTC) informs the population of the South-East department that the rehabilitation work on the Friendship road, initially planned to begin during the month of March 2024, is postponed to a date later due to the worsening security climate in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince, which prevents the firm Vorbe & Fils, winner of the call for tender, from transporting its equipment to the site and installing its base camp in Léogane. The firm undertakes to do everything possible to ensure that the work begins as soon as the security situation allows.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause to users of this important road. We therefore ask you to be patient during this period.
