Tuesday April 2nd, 2024, as part of an ongoing police operation, the leader of the gang from "Cité Doudoune" (commune of Croix-des-Bouquets) known as "New York New York" was fatally shot in an exchange of fire with the police.
At the same time, in Pétion-ville in the Meyot neighborhood, police officers from the Temporary Anti-Gang Unit (UTAG) recovered an assault rifle and ammunition during a clash between police officers and members of the "Kraze Barye gang directed by Vitelhomme Innocent.
