Thursday April 4th, 2024, from the Protocol Chamber of the Federal Legislative Palace, the National Assembly of Venezuela installed the Venezuela-Haiti Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Representative Casimira Monasterios, President of the group, explained that the aim is to strengthen bilateral ties, in addition to guiding the fight against racism, strengthening respect for the international order and the right to be and exist, like any other Nation.

For his part, the Vice Minister for the Caribbean, Raúl Octavio Li Causi Pérez, reiterated that this initiative promotes rapprochement between the Latin American and Caribbean peoples to seek solutions in health, education, culture, legislation, among others...

In her intervention, Deputy Yasneidi Guarnieri, Vice-President of the Group declared "What the situation of our sister Haiti presents to us is a good challenge so that our actions demonstrate that the Bolivarian people are not a people only of speech, but a people of action, in favor of Peace and the freedom of all peoples."
