Monday, more than 16,000 Haitians gathered at the border to go to Dajabón in the Dominican Republic to stock the binational market with articles of all kinds and food products that have become rare in Haiti due to gang violence, looting and paralysis of activities.

Haitians entered to buy and sell on the binational market in an organized manner, without incident in two lines of men and women under the surveillance of CESFRONT soldiers.

Haitian authorities have made no problem with the movement of Haitian traders to the binational market of Dajabón.
