The Academy of International Catholic Leaders and the Latin American Conference of Religious (CLAR) will hold an online zoom conference on Saturday, May 4th on the social situation in Haiti entitled "Priority for the region and agenda for its transition" from 11:00 a.m. at 1:30 p.m. for New York, Haiti, Paraguay, Chile

In the first part of the meeting “Haiti: a priority for democracy in the region” will participate: the Cardinal Secretary of State of the Vatican, Pietro Parolin; former Mexican President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa; the apostolic nuncio to the United States and former papal representative in Haiti, Cardinal Christophe Pierre; former Chilean President Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle; former President of Costa Rica and former Secretary General of the Organization of American States, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez; the Vice-President of the Haitian Episcopal Conference and Bishop of Anse-à-Veau and Miragoâne, Pierre-André Dumas and the former Prime Minister a.i. of Haiti, Michel Patrick Boisvert.

In the second part 'An agenda for the transition to democracy in Haiti' will participate the former Minister of the Interior of Haiti Paul Antoine Bien-Aimé; former Minister of Education Lesly Voltaire and observer member of the Presidential Transition Council in Haiti Régine Abraham.
