A military source informs that the Haitian National Police (PNH) would have asked the Dominican Republic to sell it 20 tires 365/80R20 dor its armored vehicles which suffered irreparable damage from gunfire during recent clashes with criminals gangs who attempted to attack the Presidential Palace and the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince.

6 INKAS armored vehicles out of the 18 owned by the PNH are currently immobilized due to a lack of working tires, which limits its intervention capabilities...

According to the request of the PNH this type of tires for their armored vehicles are not available in Haiti, which is why it asked the Dominican authorities to help it purchase and transport them to Haiti.

Note that the PNH is also waiting to receive several models of 4×4 Terrier LT-79 ordered from the American company The Armored Group (TAG).
