iciHaiti - Diaspora : Day of solidarity for better integration of compatriots in Curaçao 17/06/2024 10:21:10
This day, which brought together more than a hundred compatriots, was an opportunity for participants to meet members of the different organizations present in order to register for the various training courses made available to them to better integrate the local job market. In addition to the professional training already available, such as languages, carpentry, electricity, construction, cosmetology, pastry and sewing, the massive participation of our compatriots made it possible to advocate for the addition of other fields professionals that the Consulate General of Haiti in Curaçao, in collaboration with PADF, plans to offer them. During this day of solidarity, the social organization "Salù Patur" took care of 52 compatriots suffering from blood pressure and diabetes. In addition, 88 other Haitians had the opportunity to be consulted free of charge by dentists from the Smile Curaçao organization. Ms. Natalie Fourcand is already delighted with the positive repercussions from which our nationals will benefit at the end of this day of solidarity and renews her firm desire to continue to bring together all the leaders and representatives of young people in the community around the same table for the common good of the Haitian diaspora in Curaçao.
