iciHaiti - Politic : Installation of the new DG of the Directorate of Civil Protection

Friday June 28 in the morning, Garry Conille, in his capacity as Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities, installed Emmanuel Pierre as the new Director General of the General Directorate of Civil Protection (DGPC). He replaces Gérard Jerry Chandler in this position.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Moïse Jean-Pierre Fils, Minister of the Environment and the Chief of Staff of the Minister of the Interior, Jean Michelet Mondestin.

Garry Conille, promises that efforts will be made to ensure that each measure taken as part of government action focused on the roadmap and the 2019 National Risk Management Plan, is oriented towards the protection and security of citizens and promised the new Director General all the support and accompaniment of his government in the accomplishment of his mission.

For his part, Emmanuel Pierre is committed to continuing with determination to build the resilience of our communities and intends to propose innovative and sustainable solutions according to the Government's vision, including the implementation of the 2024-2027 three-year operational plan which arises from the National Disaster Risk Management Plan 2019-2030.
