iciHaiti - Politic : Conille on inspection visit

Tuesday July 9, 2024, Garry Conille, carried out an inspection visit to Toussaint Louverture International Airport and to the Central Office of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) in Lalue, as Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.

Conille was accompanied in particular by his Chief of Staff and the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior.

The objective of this inspection visit was to inquire about the working conditions of DIE agents and the state of the equipment and infrastructure used for passenger screening.

The Prime Minister intends to look into the various material and logistical constraints, in order to improve working conditions, make the process of travel documents more rapid, effective and efficient, both in Haiti and for the diaspora.
