iciHaiti - Religion : Ordination of two auxiliary bishops of Port-au-Prince

Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, at the Saint-Pierre Church in Pétion-ville, Edgard Leblanc Fils, President of the Transitional Council, accompanied by Prime Minister Garry Conille and some members of his Government, the Commander-in-Chief of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) Normil Rameau and several other personalities, attended the episcopal ordination of the Reverend Fathers Jean Pierre Sander Louis Jean and Wismick Jean-Charles, as auxiliary bishops of Port-au-Prince.
During this ceremony presided over by Monsignor Max Leroy Mesidor, he encouraged the country's authorities to show responsibility in resolving the problem of insecurity, which has lasted for too long in the country, as well as other problems affecting the population.
