Dr. Georges Fils Brignol, Minister of Public Health, installed Dr. Gabriel Thimothé as Director General of the Ministry last week.

In his speech, the Minister praised the work done by the outgoing Director General, Dr. Lauré Adrien

As for the new Director General, the Minister wished him a good return to the Ministry and said he was relying on his proven skills, his many years of experience and his knowledge of events and human resources of the Ministry to advance the cause of health in these difficult times.

In his speech, Gabriel Thimothé, who is holding this position for the third time, said he measured the magnitude of the issues and challenges. He also stated that the time for action is now.
