Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 at the Karibe Hotel, Edgard Leblanc Fils, President of the Transitional Council, participated in a forum organized by the Haitian Federation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (FHAPME) on the "Strategy for reviving SME activities in the face of violence by armed groups."

During his speech, the President of the CPT reaffirmed the active commitment of the Council to support this essential sector for the recovery of the national economy. He stressed the importance of SMEs for the Haitian population, highlighting their key role in reducing the unemployment rate, which is currently very high.

He also recognized the challenges posed by insecurity, while ensuring that the Government and security forces are determined to guarantee security throughout the territory.
