iciHaiti - Politic : PM chairs his 4th Government Council

On Tuesday, September 3rd 2024, Prime Minister Garry Conille chaired his 4th Government Council at the Official Residence, (Musseau)...

This Government Council was an opportunity for Garry Conille and the members of his Ministerial Cabinet to decide on certain crucial decisions to be taken as part of restoring security in the country.

The Prime Minister took the opportunity to encourage ministers to work towards better harmonization in the management of the transition roadmap.

"Ministers who propose politically motivated appointments are deviating from the agreement of April 3rd, 2024 and their roadmap. By doing so, you are greatly endangering the stability of the transition," the Prime Minister stressed.

The Prime Minister's Office warns that no administrative follow-up will be given by the Ministry of Finance to these appointments and transfers made.

The report of the official prospecting mission of the Prime Minister in the departments of the North and Northeast of Haiti, the strategy for implementing the digital platform for managing contract agents of the Public Administration; the preparations for the budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, were, among other things, on the agenda.
