iciHaiti - UNESCO : Preparation of school evacuation plans

Since September 1st, 2024, UNESCO field teams and engineers have been mobilized in the departments of North, South, Artibonite and Grand'Anse to prepare distribution plans for nearly a hundred schools.
This activity related to the preparation of school evacuation plans is part of the third component of the "Project for the implementation of climate change adaptation and disaster risk mitigation measures in schools" financed by the adaptation fund.
Through this approach, UNESCO continues to support the strengthening of the education system and the preparation of the school community for disaster risks.
