iciHaiti - Cap-Hiïtien : Special day dedicated to Jean-Jacques Dessalines 22/09/2024 09:58:36
Indeed, to mark this special day dedicated to Dessalines, the Organization for the Management of the Destination North of Haiti, in concert with the Ministry of Tourism, organized, in the morning, a large sculpture competition in Tribute, to the father of the first black republic, but also to all our ancestors, all those who fought for a free country without injustice. Following a democratic draw, the artists chose the Hero to sculpt with one of the accepted Sculpture techniques (Wood, Fiberglass, Clay, Recycled Plastic, or Metal) This day was a true celebration of our identity, our history, our talents and our culture, which will remain engraved in the hearts of all those who had the chance to participate.
