On Monday, October 14, the Grenadiers celebrated with members of the Haitian diaspora living on the island of Aruba, their two victories (first and second leg) in the Nations League of the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) against the local team of Aruba [3-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-43397-haiti-flash-league-of-nations-victory-of-the-grenadiers-against-aruba-[3-1]-video.html and [5-3] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-43418-haiti-flash-nations-league-2024-4th-consecutive-victory-for-the-grenadiers-video.html arousing the enthusiasm of the Haitian community of Aruba who came in large numbers to encourage them.

On Monday, a friendly evening was organized at the Haitian delegation hotel. Around a meal with Haitian flavors, players and staff shared a warm moment with their compatriots living in Aruba. As a sign of recognition and affection, the Haitian community of Aruba offered souvenirs and gifts to the team members.

Mrs. Milaine Aristomène, from Nippes, declared on the occasion "It is an immense joy to celebrate with this team that gave us full satisfaction by winning the two matches. These victories strengthen our pride as a Haitian community in Aruba."

On behalf of the FHF, Me Yvon Sévère (member of the Federation) thanked the organizers for their support and accompaniment to the national selection during and after these two victories against Aruba. He also recalled that the selection will return to the island in June 2025 as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, an event that the Haitian community in Aruba is already eagerly awaiting.
