iciHaiti - PNH : New Departmental Director of the West-1

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, Inspector General Smith Péyo, Chief of Staff of the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (DGPNH), on the instructions of the Acting Commander-in-Chief of the PNH Rameau Normil, proceeded in the presence of police officers and members of the administrative staff to the installation ceremony of Divisional Commissioner Luckner Dumond as the new Departmental Director of West-1. He replaces in this position Divisional Commissioner Julbert Conseillant who was transferred to the DGPNH.
In his remarks for the occasion, Divisional Commissioner Dumond promised to work hard to continue the fight against bandits.
This change is part of the new strategies adopted by the High Command of the PNH to combat the phenomenon of organized crime in all its forms in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince.
