Saturday, November 23, 2024, in the locality of Viard, located at the entrance to Montcel, more precisely in Belo (Commune of Kenskoff, West Dept.), a Kenskoff police patrol intercepted around 11:00 a.m. a vehicle with 4 suspicious individuals on board who opened fire on the police patrol. In the exchange of fire, the 4 individuals were fatally injured.
The police seized the gray Pathfinder model vehicle with registration number AA-88424 as well as two firearms including a 38 caliber revolver and a 9mm caliber pistol,
Among the 4 bandits killed was "Alain" as he was known, a prison escapee who served as a relay (antenna) for the gang leader "Didi" as he was known, who was seeking to invade and take control of the commune of Kenscoff according to information from the Police. "Didi" is currently actively sought.
