The City Hall of Cap-Haitien and that of New Orleans, as part of the twinning of these two cities, are organizing in collaboration with "Twin Sister Reunited" (TSR) an artistic competition to select two local artists who will participate in the creation of a fresco that will be created on a wall in New Orleans, which must reflect the shared history and cultural values ​​of the two twin cities.

Submission of Applications

Applications must be submitted to the Department of Social, Cultural and Tourist Affairs of the City Hall of Cap-Haitien.

Interested artists must submit their sketches accompanied by a complete file including :

- A portfolio of previous works;

- A brief cover letter;

- A sketch representing the fresco project.

The Municipal Commission is counting on the participation of talented artists to promote the cultural heritage of Cap-Haïtien internationally.

Calendar :

December 4th to 14 : public vote;

December 14 : publication of results;

January 26 : inauguration of the fresco.
