At his first Board Meeting, John Herrick Dessources, the new Minister of Tourism, reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the efforts initiated by his predecessor (former Minister James Monazard), for whom he was Chief of Staff.

Placing continuity at the heart of his strategic approach, he consolidated existing priority areas while integrating innovative orientations, based on economics and informed by science. This synergy between heritage and personal vision aims not only to preserve the tourism sector in these times of crisis, but also to lay the foundations for a solid and sustainable recovery, as soon as conditions allow.

In a moment loaded with symbolism, former Minister James Monazard honored this first Board of Directors with his presence, saluting the exceptional work of his team and proudly emphasizing that his Chief of Staff, now Minister, is now ready to further the ambitions of a rapidly changing tourism sector.
