iciHaiti - Elections : Meeting with the rapporteurs of the Venice Commission

Saturday, December 7, 2024, on the sidelines of his participation in the 141st Plenary Session of the European Commission for Democracy through Law, better known as the Venice Commission, which was held from December 6 to 7, 2024, Councilor Frinel Joseph representing the Presidential Transitional Council, accompanied by Jean Enex Jean-Charles, President of the Steering Committee of the National Conference and Constitutional Reform and Patrick Saint-Hilaire, President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), had an excellent meeting with the rapporteurs of the Commission.
The discussions focused on the restoration of security in Haiti, the organization of the constitutional referendum scheduled for March 2025, electoral financing and a draft final opinion (produced by the European Commission for Democracy through Law) on possible constitutional and legislative solutions for the conduct of future eletions in the country.
