On Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Satama Hotel in Cap-Haitien, Leslie Voltaire, the pro tempore President of the Transitional Council, chaired an important working session in the presence of 9 ministers, the Cap-Haitien City Hall, several departmental directors and representatives of the private sector.

This high-level meeting aimed to assess the major challenges facing the city of Cap and to propose concrete solutions for its development. Discussions focused in particular on urbanization, infrastructure, security and economic opportunities.

Voltaire stressed the importance of a collaborative approach between the different public and private actors to ensure sustainable results and improve the living conditions of citizens. He also reaffirmed his commitment to work in close coordination with local authorities and national partners to meet the urgent needs of the city.
