Gonaïvian football is deeply saddened by the news of the death on Wednesday evening, December 25, 2024, of coach Marc-Antoine Nicolas, at his private residence at the age of 64 following a courageously endured illness
A former player and founder of the Gonaïves Sports Association (ASG), he devoted his life to coaching and training several generations of footballers. More than a coach, he was a talent discoverer and a pillar of Gonaïves sport. He saw several of his players shine for many years both nationally and internationally.
His funeral will take place this Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Ében-Ézer Church in Gonaïves.
