Sunday, December 29, 2024, as part of the New Year and Independence Day (January 1st), Ralph Youri Chevry, President of the Interim Executive Council of Port-au-Prince until the next elections, appointed by the Presidential Transitional Council https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-43921-haiti-politic-ralph-youri-chevry-back-at-the-head-of-port-au-prince.html , launched sanitation work in the capital.

More specifically, these sanitation works will be carried out on the Lalue, Capois Street and Jean-Paul II Avenue axes.

It should be remembered that Ralph Youri Chevry was already Mayor of Port-au-Prince from 2016 to 2020.

This initiative aims to provide a clean and welcoming city to celebrate the New Year and Independence Day and also facilitate traffic.

The City Hall invites the population to participate and support this collective effort.
