Sunday, January 19, 2025, Rameau Normil, the Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH) brought together the Heads of the various specialized units of the Police Institution : Departmental Law Enforcement Unit (UDMO), SWAT, Intervention and Law Enforcement Corps (CIMO), Vehicle Theft Control Unit (UCVV), Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), Departmental Operation and Intervention Brigade (BOID).

The discussions focused on the development of a strategic security plan that can respond to the threats of armed gangs, who seek at all costs to harm the proper functioning of the population.

Rameau Normil reiterated his firm determination to combat the phenomenon of organized crime, in order to restore order and peace throughout the national territory.
