Repair of the Jacmel Airport runway :

The Ministry of Public Works has undertaken repair work on a critical section of the Jacmel Airport runway, a real economic engine for the South-East Department and the South region. These interventions, which cover an area of ​​4,000 m² out of a total of 7,500 m², involve the application of a new layer of asphalt and impregnation operations.

This project is part of a strategic plan aimed at positioning the airport as a catalyst for growth. This work was entrusted to the Haitian construction firm V&F Construction S.A. (founded in 1970).

The rehabilitation and sanitation of the city's streets.

These initiatives aim to offer a dignified welcome and adequate infrastructure on the sidelines of the official visit on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, of the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro.
