Friday, January 24, 2025, as part of a surveillance operation, the Haitian National Police (PNH), via the Land Border Police (PoliFRONT), intercepted 5 trucks smuggling frozen meat from the Dominican Republic.

This intervention took place on the Gérald Bataille road, located between the communes of Delmas and Tabarre. The trucks escorted by PoliFRONT agents were handed over to the Customs Anti-Smuggling Brigade.

Shpould be noted that, following this raid, the General Administration of Customs (AGD) seized more than 8 million Gourdes.
