Wednesday, January 29, 2025, following the attack that occurred earlier this week in the commune of Kenscoff https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44154-haiti-flash-kenscoff-attacked-attackers-repelled.html Dr. Sinal Bertrand, Minister of Public Health, visited the hospital and handed over medical supplies to help the hospital continue to provide quality services, strengthen the care of victims and support medical teams on the ground, with Fermathe hospital being the main facility receiving the wounded

Not only is the Government providing immediate support, but it also has a vision for the future of this hospital. The Minister took the opportunity to discuss some perspectives related to Fermathe Hospital, while examining ways to improve infrastructure and services for patients.

The Minister plans to transform it into a university hospital, which will allow it to increase its capacities, improve the quality of care and contribute to professional training in the medical field.
