iciHaiti - Politic : PM receives high-level UN delegation
On Thursday, January 30, 2025, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé received a high-level delegation led by Miroslav Jenča, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Europe, Central Asia and the Americas.

In a cordial atmosphere, the discussions focused on the overall situation in Haiti and current challenges.

The Prime Minister presented a detailed assessment of the actions undertaken by his Government, highlighting the progress made and the initiatives underway to meet the expectations of the population.

He also highlighted the cohesion between his Government and the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), while reaffirming the common will of the Haitian authorities to ensure a harmonious and effective transition.

In response, Miroslav Jenča and the members of the delegation reiterated the United Nations' commitment to supporting Haiti throughout the transition process, by providing active support to national efforts for stability and development.
