Dr. Bertrand Sinal, Minister of Public Health, is participating in the 156th session of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO) from February 3 to 11, 2025 in Geneva.

During this executive board, several crucial topics for Haiti will be discussed, including : reducing the burden of noncommunicable diseases by promoting kidney health and strengthening the means to prevent and treat kidney disease, universal health coverage, mental health and social ties, the global strategy for human resources for health by 2030, as well as the report of the Standing Committee on prevention, preparedness and response to health emergencies.

Another major topic will be the global strategy for women's, children's and adolescents' health. These topics fit perfectly into the three major priorities of the Minister, Dr. Bertrand Sinal, stated during his installation:

- Access to care,

- Funding for the most vulnerable groups, particularly pregnant women and children,

- Prevention and awareness.
