Haiti - Politic : 3rd annual edition of the assets declaration day
The Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) officially launched this Wednesday morning the 3rd annual edition of the asset declaration day, in its premises located at #20, Delmas 83.

Throughout the day, notaries, clerks, and substitutes of the Government Commissioner are on site to allow all the individuals subject to the law provided for in Article 7 of the law of February 12, 2008, to make their asset declaration in a single stop and free of charge, in Port-au-Prince and in the 6 departmental offices. ULCC agents will also be on site to provide the necessary legal assistance if necessary.

Should be noted that this 3rd annual edition of the asset declaration day opened with an official ceremony in the presence of senior government officials, including the Director General of the ULCC, Me Hans Joseph, and international technical and financial partners.

This day is part of the commemorative activities of the law of February 12, 2008 on the Declaration of Assets by Certain Categories of Political Personalities, Civil Servants and Other Public Agents, and which aims to facilitate the accomplishment of this substantial formality in the fight against corruption in Haiti.
