"The Haitian Football Federation (FHF), the Normalization Committee and all of its employees express their deep sadness following the death of Gracia Metayer Jean (56 years old), former manager of Dynamite AC and Lyons FC of Saint-Marc.

A devoted servant of Haitian football, Gracia Metayer Jean followed in the footsteps of his older brother, Jean Degraff, passionately committing himself to the development of football. His love for this sport was evident through his understanding, respect and unwavering commitment.

His departure represents an immense loss for a sector already lacking consistent and faithfully invested leaders.

The FHF extends its sincere condolences to his family, loved ones, clubs and all of Saint-Marcois football. His funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 8:00 a.m., at the Bob Beaubrun Funeral Home in Saint-Marc.
