The Holy See announced in its Health Bulletin of Pope Francis on Wednesday evening, February 26, that "The clinical condition of the Holy Father has recorded a new slight improvement in the last 24 hours" on the 13th day of his hospitalization.

"The slight renal failure observed in recent days has resolved. The chest CT scan, performed the day before, showed a normal evolution of the pulmonary inflammatory picture. The hematological examinations of the day confirmed the improvement of the day before.

The Holy Father continues his high-flow oxygen therapy and did not present a respiratory crisis on Wednesday. However, the prognosis remains reserved.

In the morning, the Sovereign Pontiff received the Eucharist and the afternoon was devoted to work."
