iciHaïti - NOTICE : DIE is recruiting 50 Immigration Inspectors, registrations open

As part of the restructuring of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE), the Ministry of the Interior is planning to recruit 50 qualified young people (M/F) to fill the position of immigration inspector at certain ports and airports across the country and is launching a call for applications.

Location :
Port and Airport of Port-au-Prince (West Department);
Port and Airport of Cap-Haïtien (North Department);
Port and Airport of Jacmel (South Department);
Airport of Les Cayes (South Department);
Port of Saint-Louis du Sud (South Department);
Land Border.

Main Missions :
- Control of the movement of people at land, sea, and air border crossings;
- Constant and rigorous monitoring of the enforcement of immigration laws and regulations and border legislation.

Performance Measurements :
- Participation in defining departmental objectives and performance indicators under the guidance of the line manager;
- Design of activity dashboards;
- Measurement and analysis of performance indicators;
- Optimization of resources implemented based on results;
- Implementation of corrective measures if necessary.

Eligibility Requirements :
1 - Qualifications :
- Academic qualifications (Bac+2)

2 - Experience and Assets :
- Two years of experience in the field of migration or in a similar role;
- Knowledge of English or another foreign language is an asset.

3 - Required Skills :
- Team leadership skills;
- Listening and communication skills;
- Managerial skills;
- Negotiation skills;
- Rigor and stress resistance;
- Availability and adaptability;
- Flexibility in work hours and location
- Ability to work under pressure

Required Documents :
- Letter of recommendation from a prominent figure;
- Candidate's cover letter;
- Updated CV, copy of Bac II (high school diploma), university and/or professional degrees, and certificates and/or training certificates.
- Tax registration number and National Identity Card;
- Two passport photos;
- Employment certificate (optional);
- Certificate of good conduct and morality (if successful).
