On Saturday, March 29, 2025, Inspector General Smith Peyo, Chief of Staff to the Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police (HNP), installed Inspector General Arol Enol Alphonse as the new Director of the Central Directorate of Administrative Police (DCPA) in the absence of outgoing Inspector General Alain Auguste.

This change is part of the revitalization of the Police Institution to better address current security challenges.

In his speech, the new Director emphasized the need to create synergy between all the country's security forces to more effectively combat organized crime throughout the country.

Furthermore, he requested appropriate logistical and technological resources from state authorities to strengthen the operational capacity of the PNH.
