iciHaiti - MSS : 9 Salvadoran soldiers promoted to higher ranks

In a solemn and emotional ceremony held at the operational base of the Mission for Security Support (MSS), a group of Salvadoran Air Force members was promoted to the next rank after successfully completing the rigorous physical and mental tests required for their advancement. The promoted officers and non-commissioned officers have demonstrated a high level of preparedness and commitment in aeromedical evacuation (MEDEVAC) and combat evacuation (CASEVAC) missions, performing with bravery in one of the most demanding operational environments.

The promoted personnel includes :

Majors :

Myr. P.A. José Samuel Henríquez González ;

My. P.A. Francisco Leandro José Pérez Román ;

My. P.A. José Eliseo Ticas López.

Captains :

Cap. P.A. Luis Alfonso Amaya Medrano ;

Cap. P.A. José Lázaro Rodríguez Mejía.

First Sergeants :

During the event, MSS high-ranking officials praised the effort and dedication of the Salvadoran personnel, emphasizing the importance of their training to face high-risk situations. "This promotion is a reflection of their discipline, leadership, and commitment to the mission. Their performance has been key in executing critical operations," stated MSS Force Commander Godfrey Otunge.

The promoted personnel, visibly moved, reaffirmed their commitment to humanitarian efforts and international security. “Every challenge we overcome has made us stronger. This achievement motivates us to continue serving with honor and professionalism,” expressed one of them.
