On Monday, March 31, 2025, on the sidelines of the formal reopening of the Port-au-Prince Court of First Instance, Patrick Pélissier, Minister of Justice and Public Security, reiterated the Government's commitment to eradicating insecurity through substantial investments.

Explaining that as part of the 2024-2025 supplementary budget, currently being approved by the Council of Ministers, nearly US$54 million are exclusively dedicated for the acquisition of strategic equipment. At the same time, no less than US$33 million is allocated to the modernization and operational deployment of the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H).
