iciHaiti - Justice : The new Court of First Instance in Port-au-Prince receives equipment

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, one month after the opening of the new (unequipped) premises of the new Court of First Instance (TPI) in Port-au-Prince (closed since February 2023) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44549-haiti-justice-reopening-of-the-court-of-first-instance-of-port-au-prince.html ), the TPI received a large batch of equipment, including chairs, storage lockers, and other basic equipment to support the gradual resumption of its judicial activities. Further deliveries are planned in the coming days to complete this initial shipment.

This donation is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the operational capacities of judicial institutions and responds to an urgent need to create a functional working environment conducive to the smooth running of its activities and the reception of litigants.

With this initiative, the Ministry of Justice reaffirms its firm commitment to strengthening the justice system by providing it with the resources essential to fulfilling its mission.
