President Abinader addressed members of the Dominican Army at the General Francisco A. Salcedo Fortress in the province of Dajabón, emphasizing the need for strict border controls and warning the Army that allowing an illegal immigrant to pass through would be unacceptable. He emphasized the importance of monitoring the border with the utmost zeal. Abinader commended the Army for its work and urged it to redouble its efforts.
